Já são conhecidos os nomeados para a 40ª edição dos Annie Awards, os prémios mais importantes do cinema de animação nos EUA. A Walt Disney lidera este ano as nomeações (onze no total), com os filmes “Wreck-It Ralph”, “Frankenweenie” e o “Brave” da Pixar. No entanto, o filme mais nomeado é “Rise of the Guardians” da DreamWorks, com dez nomeações, seguido por “ParaNorman” da Focus Features, com oito nomeações. Portugal conta com a nomeação de “Kali, o Pequeno Vampiro”, de Regina Pessoa, na categoria de Melhor Curta-metragem. A cerimónia de entrega dos prémios realiza-se a 2 de fevereiro de 2013, em Los Angeles.
