Foram revelados os nomeados dos Cinema Eye Honors, que tem como objetivo premiar os melhores documentários. Estes prémios, que foram criados em 2008, já vão na quinta edição, tendo já premiado filmes como “Homem no Arame” (2008) e “Exit Through the Gift Shop” (2010). “The Imposter” e “Searching for Sugar Man” lideram a lista de nomeados, com cinco nomeações cada. Os vencedores vão ser anunciados no dia 09 de janeiro de 2013, numa cerimónia realizada em Nova Iorque no Museum of the Moving Image in Astoria, Queens.
