Foram entregues há instantes os Independent Spirit Awards 2013, que premeiam anualmente os melhores filmes independentes. “Silver Linings Playbook” de David O. Russell, que contava com cinco nomeações, recebeu quatro prémios: Melhor Filme, Melhor Realizador, Melhor Argumento e Melhor Atriz. “Moonrise Kingdom”, que estava também nomeado para cinco categorias, foi o grande derrotado da noite ao não ter vencido nenhuma. O prémio de Melhor Fotografia foi para “Beasts of the Southern Wild” e o de Melhor Filme Internacional foi para “Amor”.
