Já se conhecem os nomeados aos WGA Awards (Writers Guild of America Awards) – Prémios do Sindicato dos Argumentistas, os prémios que premeiam os melhores argumentos. A Amazon Studios conta com quatro filmes seus entre os nomeados e a Netflix com três. Entre os favoritos na corrida aos Óscares 2021 ficaram de fora filmes como “Nomadland”, “Minari”, “Mank”, “Emma” e “O Pai”. Os vencedores da 73.ª edição serão anunciados a 21 de março, numa cerimónia virtual.
