Com o aproximar da 84ª cerimónia dos Óscares, a realizar-se a 26 de fevereiro de 2012, no teatro Kodak, em Los Angeles, apresentada por Billy Cristal, o Cinema 7ª Arte apresenta as suas previsões para os vencedores da noite. O ano de 2011 foi uma colheita bastante boa, tendo-nos brindado com filmes como “A Árvore da Vida”, “O Artista”, “Hugo”, “The Help” e “Meia Noite em Paris”. De uma maneira geral há dois claros vencedores, “Hugo” (nomeado para 11 cetegorias) e “O Artista” (nomeado para 10 categorias), no entanto nada é dado como certo numa cerimónia em que tudo pode acontecer. De acordo com as nossas previsões “Hugo” irá vencer em 6 categorias e “O Artista” em 4 (melhor filme, realizador, ator e banda sonora). As nossas principais dificuldades foram nas categorias de melhor realizador, atriz, atriz secundária, fotografia e edição.
