A Academia de Artes e Ciências Cinematográficas (AMPAS) divulgou, na última quinta-feira (20), os 276 longas-metragens elegíveis para consideração na 94ª edição dos prémios dos Óscares 2022, que retornará ao tradicional Dolby Theatre, em Hollywood, na Califórnia.
A edição de 2022 contará com 276 títulos, 90 a menos que os 366 da 93ª edição. Ressaltamos que o período de elegibilidade deste ano foi de apenas 10 meses, entre 1º de março e 31 de dezembro de 2021.
O Termômetro Oscar destaca que para se qualificar para a consideração de Melhor Filme, os longas-metragens devem ser submetido a uma inscrição confidencial nos Padrões de Inclusão e Representação da Academia como parte dos requisitos de inscrição. Entretanto, este ano, a Academia observou que atender a esses padrões não será necessário até o Óscar de 2024.
Como noticiamos, as votações para os indicados começam no próximo dia 27 de janeiro e se encerram no começo de fevereiro. A lista completa será anunciada no dia 8 de fevereiro e a cerimônia de premiação acontece no dia 27 de março no Dolby Theatre, em Hollywood.
Nesta perspectiva, a tão esperada lista chega cerca de um mês depois que a Academia divulgou suas shortlists nas categorias de Melhor Filme Internacional, Documentário, Banda Sonora Original, Canção Original, Maquiagem, Efeitos Visuais, Som e Curtas em Live-Action, Documentário e de Animação.
