Para a associação de críticos de Los Angeles (Los Angeles Film Critics Association), o Melhor Filme do Ano foi “Roma”, de Alfonso Cuarón, que venceu também o prémio de Melhor Fotografia. O Prémio de Melhor Filme Estrangeiro foi dividido entre o sul-coreano “Burning” e o japonês “Shoplifters”.
