A Associação de Imprensa Estrangeira em Hollywood (Hollywood Foreign Press Association) revelou hoje os nomeados para a 72ª edição dos Globos de Ouro americanos. O filme “Birdman” recebeu sete nomeações aos Globos de Ouro 2015, incluindo Melhor Filme. “Boyhood” e “O Jogo da Imitação” tiveram cinco nomeações cada um. Jennifer Aniston recebeu nomeação para Melhor Atriz por “Cake”, enquanto que Steve Carell, em “Foxcatcher”, e Benedict Cumberbatch, em “O Jogo da Imitação”, receberam nomeação para Melhor Ator (Drama), foram as principais surpresas.
A Associação de Imprensa Estrangeira em Hollywood vai homenagear o ator George Clooney com o Prémio Cecil B. DeMille, em reconhecimento do seu trabalho no cinema e pelo seu compromisso em atividades humanitárias, na 72ª Cerimónia dos Globos de Ouro. A gala de entrega dos prémios de cinema e televisão Globos de Ouro terá lugar a 11 de janeiro de 2015, em Los Angeles, apresentado novamente por Tina Fey e Amy Poehler.
